11. INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE FARM SECTOR: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

June 24, 2009 in the city of Cheboksary the conference devoted to the agricultural development in Chuvashia was held. The conference called INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF THE FARM SECTOR: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS.

The conference which took place in the Institute of tourism and services. The participants of the conference were the directors of agricultural enterprises, the specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and state unitary enterprise “Agro-Innovations”, the representatives of different academic institutions, the machinery and equipment suppliers. The Ministry of Agriculture of the Chuvash Republic and the state unitary enterprise “Agro-Innovations” became the organizers of the conference.

The Minister of Agriculture of the Chuvash Republic - Mikhail V. Ignatyev – opened the conference. There were the guests from the Moscow Region who addressed the participants and visitors at the plenary meeting of the conference. The director of federal state institution RUSSIAN CENTER OF AGRICULTURAL CONSULTING – Vladimir G. Sovenko spoke about the opportunities of agricultural consulting management in agricultural industry. The address of the Assistant Director of the   federal state institution RUSSIAN CENTER OF AGRICULTURAL CONSULTING was also very interesting and it was devoted to the innovative technologies in dairy cattle husbandry. The problems of fodder conservation and its ways forward were touched in the lecture of Alekseeeey A. Panov - the Professor, senior research fellow, Doctor of Science in Agriculture of ALL-RUSSIAN SCIENCE-RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF FODDER named after Williams.
