Novocheboksarsk affiliate of OJSC “SUN InBev”

Novocheboksarsk affiliate of OJSC “SUN InBev” is a unique brewery plant. It was built in 2001 and soon became one of the first breweries in Russia with 100% modern imported equipment. The brewing equipment was supplied by the leading world manufactures to produce beer of premium and super-premium brands.

 The brewery is situated in Chuvashia, a region with age long brewing traditions. Its opening ceremony on June 23, 2001 had an all-russian status and was attended by the Premier of the Russian Government.

 Since August 1, 2003, Novocheboksarsk Brewery has become a part of SUN InBev (since March 2004 as the Novocheboksarsk affiliate of JSC “SUN InBev”), which was the key moment for the enterprise in realizing its technologic potential. Since then a number of innovation projects has been implemented that enabled to raise the current manufacturing capacities, to launch the production of licensed brands, to substantially improve the technology of the production in accordance with the high quality standards of the InBev company. The best worldwide programs in the sphere of management, technical maintenance, human resources, logistics have been already launched or are in the process of being launched.

 Today the brewery produces about 2/3 of beer produced in Chuvashia. More than 90% of the production is sold beyond the region. The brewery is one of the most competitive enterprises in the region and according to the results of 2004 and 2005 was twice acknowledged the winner of the competition “The organization of the high social effectiveness” held by the cabinet of ministers of Republic of Chuvashia. The diploma of the President of the Republic of Chuvashia for “active implementation of innovations, attracting the investments among food enterprises” was awarded to the brewery. Throughout many years the status of the diligent tax-payer of Novocheboksarsk is assigned to the enterprise.

 The brewery produces such popular global beer brands as “Stella Artois”, “Beck’s”, and “Staropramen”, national brands “Sibirskaya Korona”, Klinskoye.

Not only does company offer its consumers high quality beer but it also strives for participation in the life of cities and regions where company’s plants are situated. This is why SUN InBev provides long-term social program «We will live here!». It aims to help citizens make life in their hometowns more pleasant and comfortable. Every spring employees of Novocheboksarsk affiliate together with their families and friends organize  subbotniks in the park at the monument for Heroes of Chernobyl. They have set up a flower bed in one of the town’s central streets and a series of Ulyp’s Hills hardscape elements. Every year the plant provides financial support to the Best yard competition among the yards of the town. A number of hockey pitches have been set up with financial support from the Novocheboksarsk affiliate of the SUN InBev.

PLC “SUN InBev” is the second largest (according to the volumes of sales) brewing company in Russia. It was founded in 1999 and operates now as a Russian unit of leading brewing company in the world “Anheuser-Busch InBev”.

Company has a network of modern breweries in ten Russian cities: Klin, Volzhsky, Omsk, Perm, Ivanovo, Saransk, Kursk, Novocheboksarsk, Angarsk and St. Petersburg. The main brands of beer produced by the Company in Russia are – Stella Artois, Beck’s, Brahma, Staropramen, Hoegaarden, Sibirskaya Korona, Klinskoye, Tolstiak and BagBier.
