“Agrofirm “Slava Kartofelyu”, Ltd was founded in spring 2001 in the village of Komsomolskoe of the Chuvash Republic. The main production of the enterprise is seed and food potatoes of high-quality.

The major of the company is potato growing using the latest high technology. As the result of it the average crop capacity of potato is over 300 centners per hectare. It is planned to increase it to 650 hectares per hectare in 2009.

At present “Agrofirm “Slava Kartofelyu”, Ltd is a young and dynamic company which is one of the largest potato producers in Volga Region. Within 7 years the company has increased its spacing from 35 to 480 hectares, the croppage has increased from 875 tons to 14, 500 tons of potato.

 “Agrofirm “Slava Kartofelyu”, Ltd has received a certification mark “Quality Mark of the Chuvash Republic” for its potato fine quality. Thanks to the application of advanced technology the company has also achieved an honorary degree as “The best potato growing company of the Chuvash Republic”.
