CJSC “Agrofirm “Oldeevskaya”

CJSC “Agrofirm “Oldeevskaya” is the biggest supplier of glass-grown vegetables in the Chuvash Republic. The area of winter glass greenhouses is about 24 hectares.

For 30 years the agrofirm “Oldeevskaya” specializes in vegetable production, flowers and herbaceous crops, and milk production. Annually there are grown more than 8,000 tons of vegetable produce distributed not only in Chuvashia but also outside the republic.

Long-term cooperation with such selected firms as De Ruiter Seeds, Syngenta, Gavrish, Manul, Agrosemtoms results in high-quality products.

CJSC “Agrofirm “Oldeevskaya” has the personnel of 540 highly-qualified specialists and workers. 

Cost-effective use of resources is a direction to which it is given particular attention. During the period of 2003-2007 there were built local boiler-houses for two plots. At the present time the system of carbon dressing with the area of 12 hectares has been implemented.

In 2007 the agro firm has started to master new trends and techniques such as open-ground growing and cattle breeding. There are 200 heads (Black-and-White Dutch) in the livestock department. At present 3 tons of milk are being produced daily.

CJSC “Agrofirm “Oldeevskaya” is a constant participant in both republic and Russian exhibitions – “Golden Autumn”, “Regions - cooperation without boundaries”, “Greenhouses”.

Summarizing the results of 2001-2007 the agrofirm ranks among 300 of the best agricultural enterprises in Russia.
