Pig complex “Tsivilsky Bekon”

The pig complex “Tsivilsky Bekon” of the branch of “Avangard”, Ltd. is a new enterprise with modern equipment and full automation and control of all process industries. The building and reconstruction of the pig complex were begun in November, 2006 as a part of the national project “The development of the farming sector”. Within two years at the location of old constructions of the former holding “Rodnik”, Ltd there was built the largest and the most modern pig complex in the Chuvash Republic for the moment.

The pig complex “Tsivilsky Bekon” has been designed according to the modern west-european          resource saving technologies. The equipment delivered by the German firm “Hartmann” provides full automation and control over such processes as feeding, removal, storage, recycling of dropping, maintenance of an optimal microclimate indoors and usage high genetic potential animals. Breeding hogs and boars are bought from another German firm “RHG HIRSCHMANN HYBRID GMBH”.

The capacity cases is for about 30, 000 heads at a single management; an annual turnover is about 67, 000 heads. Such a capacity results in producing up to 7, 500 tons of pork bacon annually. In 2009 it is planned to produce up to 6, 500 tons of pork on hoof.

To get an ecologically clean product it is made up a special feeding system using only natural adjuncts without either chemistry or conservants.

The realization of this project gives a great opportunity to expand services market in manufacture and distribution of pork on hoof.
