3. Holland

Kingdom of the Netherlands is one of the trade and economic partners of the Chuvash Republic of the Russian Federation.

In the first half of 2007 it was organized a number of meetings with the head of the Dutch firm Orange Business - Mr Cees A.M. den Teuling. Through holding the meetings and negotiations there were defined the basic directions of the mutually advantageous cooperation between Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Chuvash Republic of the Russian Federation.

As a part of the cooperation development in autumn 2007 it was organized an on-the-job training for 15 heads and agricultural specialists of the Chuvash Republic to Holland. The purpose of the training was to see and find out more about Dutch growing process and management of cattle and pigs. All the members of the group successfully completed the training and got the corresponding certificates.

In the consequence of the forenamed visit there was arranged a pre-settlement on the following:

·        to make up a program and organize a training for students of the Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education “Chuvash State Agricultural Academy” to Holland;

·        to organize a two months on-job-training for specialists (under 30 years of age) of agricultural organizations of the Chuvash Republic to Holland;

·        to discuss a procurability of farm animals from Holland.
